Day 1
  • Flight to London 

Day 2
  • London Eye

    Enjoy a walking tour and a Broadway show. Visit these neighborhoods:

    • Trafalgar Square
    • Chinatown
    • Soho
    • Leicester Square
    • Chinatown
    • Covent Garden 

Day 3
  • London is Europe’s largest city, and today you’ll have another guided tour, visiting Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus, Whitehall, Downing Street, Hyde Park, and St. Paul’s Cathedral. You’ll always see the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace

    * WinsorOptional excursion to Windsor:

    You’ll want to tuck this one in if you’re anxious to see the world’s largest inhabited castle. The State Apartments are closed if the queen is in residence. But you’ll still see St. George’s Chapel and the miniature display of royal life in the dollhouse once commissioned for Queen Mary.  



Day 4
  • Eiffel Tower

    Free time in London or optional excursions nearby 

  • Travel Eurostar to Paris and ride to the top of the Eiffel Tower.



Day 5
  • Arc de Triomphe Take a guided tour of Paris for sightseeing, photo ops, and these attractions:

    • The Arc de Triomphe
    • Île de la Cité, an island in the Seine
    • The famous Paris avenue, Champs-Elyéees
    • La Conciergerie, first prison of Paris
    • Les Invalides and the Ecole Militaire - Monuments, museums, and training facilities of the French military
    • Notre Dame Cathedral
    • Louvre – famous art museum, home of the Mona Lisa. 

  • Travel overnight by train to Zurich, Switzerland 

Day 6
  • Alps

    Arrive in Zurich and transfer to Lucerne, a large city in sight of the Swiss Alps. You’ll visit the Vierwaldstättersee as well, the Lake Lucerne region. 

    * Optional excursion to Mt. Pilatus

    For a breathtaking view of the Alps, ride the aerial cable over Mt. Pilatus and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Lucerne. 

    * Optional Swiss Folklore Evening

    Enjoy this evening of Swiss folklore in Lucern’s Stadtkeller, with a traditional meal (featuring fondue), yodeling, alphorns, flag throwing, and a fully unforgettable Swiss experience. 


Day 7
  • Take a guided tour of Lucerne, including the covered wooden bridge, Kapellbrücke, the cobbled streets of the Old Town, and the Löwendenkmal, or lion monument, memorializing the Swiss guards lost in the Paris storming of Tuileries.


Day 8
  • Spend the day in Abelboden for hiking, mountain climbing, and the beautiful Switzerland landscape.


Day 9
  • Grand CanalTravel to Venice, Italy, the city built on canals. 

Day 10
  • Venice BridgeTake a guided tour of Venice including:

    • La Serenissima at St. Mark’s Square
    • The Grand Canal
    • The Campanile (Bell Tower)
    • Doges’ Palace and the Bridge of Sighs 

Day 11
  • PisaTravel to the Tower of Pisa and its adjacent marble cathedral
  • Journey to Florence 

Day 12
  • FlorenceTake a guided tour of Florence:

    • Giotto’s Bell Tower
    • Gates of Paradise
    • Chiesa di Santa Croce (final resting place of Michelangelo, Machiavelli, and Galileo) and an authentic leather workshop
    • Michelangelo’s David and other masterpieces in the Accademia Museum. 

Day 13
  • Travel to Assisi for sightseeing and then to Rome 

Day 14
  • VaticanGuided tour of Rome:

    • the Colosseum
    • Forum Romanum
    • Piazza Venezia 

  • Guided tour of Vatican City:

    • St. Peter’s Basilica
    • Michelangelo’s Pietà
    • Sistine Chapel
