Day 1 |
- Chesapeake Bay Center
The Chesapeake Bay Center, provides visitor information, and the Center also functions as an interpretive and educational center. It includes exhibits on the landing of the first permanent English settlers in 1607, a Chesapeake Bay aquarium exhibit, a Bay store, and eco tourism opportunities.
- First Landing State Park
Showcases the landing of the first Englishsettlers in 1607, and offers sea kayaking, a wet lab and marine education.
- Lunch
Enjoy lunch at Bubba's or Lynnhaven Fish House
- Old Cape Henry Lighthouse
Built in 1791-92, this structure was the first lighthouse authorized by the U.S. Congress. It marked the southern entrance to Chesapeake Bay until 1881, when a new lighthouse nearby took over. If you're in shape, you can climb the 191 steps to the top for a spectacular view over Cape Henry, the bay, and the ocean.
- Old Coast Guard Station
This small museum is housed in the white-clapboard building constructed in 1903 as a life-saving station. Its exhibits recall rescue missions and shipwrecks along the coast. You can manipulate a video camera on top of the building to get a terrific view of the beach or enjoy some "Salty Sea Stories."
- Dinner
Pi-zzerria at 33rd Street is one of the best pizza joints in town, but save room for an ice cream cone when you visit the busiest Dairy Queen in the world on 16th Street.

Day 2 |
- Naval Air Station Oceana Master Jet Base
For a heart-racing, up-close experience with F/A-18 Hornets, this is the place to tour.
- Dolphin Cruise
Tour onboard the Rudee Flipper with Virginia Aquarium naturalists.
- Dinner
Enjoy a hearty buffet meal of coastal fare at Captain George's Seafood.

Day 3 |
- Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E)
Learn about the renowned dream interpreter and visionary Edgar Cayce, and his views on holistic healing.
- Contemporary Art Center of Virginia
Regularly changing exhibitions feature painting, sculpture, photography, glass, video and other visual media from internationally acclaimed artists as well as artists of national and regional renown.
- Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center and 3D IMAX Theater
Explore the ocean's secrets and take in an IMAX film
- Dinner
Enjoy a crowd-pleasing dinner at Stella Gourmet Pizzeria, where you can make your own pie.
- Evening Entertainment
Finish the day with a show at Little Theater of Virginia Beach or Sandler Center for the Performing Arts.

Day 4 |
- Scenic Drive
As you leave the beach, enjoy the scenic route north on Route 13 across one of the seven man-made wonders of the world, the Chesapeake Bay-Bridge Tunnel. The 17.5 mile span leads to Virginia's Eastern Shore.
- Lunch
Stop for lunch at the Sea Gull Pier Restaurant for the largest flounder entree around and their "big fish sandwiches."
